Welcome to our fabulous new, eager and larger team! I am hoping that this meeting can initiate planning for the year ahead. So in September we can actually have a list of goals, all outlined on a monthly calendar and start organising activities and everything that goes with them.
A lot of what I want to talk about will be covered in the General Business:
Some of us are completely new to being part of organising something as big as the Gala. While it is OK to delegate roles specific to areas of the Gala, it will be beneficial for everyone to know what everyone else is doing too (like a support group) by planning together and creating a timeline for getting things done.
To help with this of course we will need the input of those experienced organisers.
