PTA Annual General Meeting

Present: Selena Grant, Naeri Nicholls, Rochelle Hume, Gillian Irons, Linda Falconer, Linda Nelson, Aprile Everitte, Kevin Hume

Apologies: Kate McConnell, Richard Watson, Nicola Smith, Janine Telfar, Kay and Wilfred Mueller.

Minutes from last meeting. Amended to include fact that both Lindas are stepping down.

Financial reports presented and passed around. One year worth of books all done in. April 1, 2007 through May 31, 2008. Since then, reimbursements made to school for Carnival expenses (about $4000), and money given to school for ICT purchases.

Election of Officers and Committee. Gillian goes over the basic rules.

Nominations: Selena Grant for president, Jenine Abarbanel for secretary, Naeri Nichols for treasurer, Richie Watson, Kate McConnell, Nicola Smith, Kevin Hume, Janine Telfor, Kay Mueller for committee. Jenine Abarbanel also nominated for president, but would prefer to be secretary, so Selena elected president. All other nominations accepted and duly elected. Congratulations, everyone.
