Reports: Chairperson’s report
Thanks to all who have come tonight, the end of another year. Even though we feel like we don’t have enough time or energy for the PTA. (to attach)
Read by Selena, accepted by Jenine, and seconded by Gillian. Along with special thanks from Gillian for her hard work.

Reading and review of current financial report
Discussion of funds needed for basic operations, i.e. hats, shirts. Also Calendar and Carnival.
First ever fully audited PTA accounts. Done by Middleton Accounting in Warkworth. As expected, since we are a fundraising body, Rick Middleton has given us ... (to attach) Bottom line: Note for treasurer to go to the bank and have our statement date changed to last day of month, or first day of month to make our bookkeeping easier. Ritchie spotted a small error on the audited list, there’s an extra zero on our starting account balance. But the addition totals are correct, it’s just a typo.
Read by Selena. Moved to be accepted by Selena, seconded by Aprile.

Election of Officers and Committee. Selena relinquishes the chair and Gillian takes over, starting by going over the basic rules.

Nominations:
Chairperson:
Secretary: Jenine has agreed to stay on as Secretary
Treasurer: Selena, nominated by Aprile, seconded by Katrina.
Committee nominations: Aprile Everitt (teacher rep), Katrina Hunter, Cath Lewis, Helena Murray, Kaye Mueller, Ritchie Watson, Kate McConnell, Robin Minson.

Currently no candidates standing for Chairperson. Ritchie will stand as interim chairperson. Another meeting will be held if other nominees are found. Ritchie will ask around.
All absent nominees to be accepted onto the committee upon their approval.

New PTA job: New Family Liaison. Kaye willing to take that role.

Currently we need a third signatory on the bank account because Jenine is leaving. Kaye willing to do that. Jenine will go to the bank to get a form.

Carnival business
Thank you certificates, handed over by Gillian and Fay. Distributed for
Vern Murray payment. Selena to check last check hasn’t cleared and we’ll sort it out.
McEntee BBQ. $500 to replace. Ritchie to ask his brother if he can replace it for free or less.

Looking ahead to the rest of the year
