Carnival Wrap Up
01/06/09 04:51 PM
Oops! It's been too long since this blog was updated.
I'll try to make this brief. The Carnival was an
amazing success! Everyone who came had nothing but
positive, REALLY positive, comments about the day. We
really showed off the best face of our school and
community, and in the process we made about $12,000
for the school. Hurrah!
We did learn some lessons as well. Like, we really really need the enthusiastic support of EVERY school family to pull this huge achievement off.
Now we are looking forward to the future, starting with an AGM on June 21. Let's all come with the intention of stepping up to the plate, each in our own way, to make an even more successful year for our school!
The school has sent us a "wish list" of improvements they would like us to help fund. It's a big list! We're going to have to work hard to make these a reality. So let's all start thinking of creative, fun ways to make it happen.

Carnival planning
14/11/08 08:38 AM
I am so excited about how Carnival organisation is
going right now. I mean, look at this dream team
we’ve got assembled so far:
Turf N Surf: Ritchie Watson and Kevin Hume
Wine Auction: Cath Lewis
Food: Dan O’Donnell, Dave Marshall, and Kate McConnell
Art Auction: Sandy Meharry and Kerrin Jamison
School Stalls and Fun: Naeri Nicholls and Kay Mueller
Garage Sale: Selena Grant and NIcola Smith
Raffles: Jeanine and Stuart Greaves
Money handling: Gillian Irons
and Arts and Entertainment (along with general overall organising) will be managed by Yours Truly, Jenine Abarbanel.
We now need someone to take on the silent auction, and plants/produce/cakes and we are AWAY, people. We are really moving. Weather permitting, this will be the best Carnival ever.
Click on over to the contact page RIGHT NOW and sign up to help! Be a part of this exciting event, and make a real difference to your school and your children’s education. Yay!
